Syllabus

ACCA Syllabus can be broken down into the following 3 levels. However, currently, there are 13 papers in total for the ACCA course.
Applied Knowledge
The Applied Knowledge exam provides the students with a board introduction to the world of finance and develop essential understanding and technique in accounting. These exams are:

A) BT – Business & Technology

B) MA – Management Accounting

C) FA – Financial Accounting

The Applied Skills Level
The Applied Skills exam is built on existing knowledge and understand and develops strong, board and proctical finance skills required for future strategic professional accountant in any sector or industry

A) LW – Corporate & Business Law

B) PM – Performance Management

C) TX – Taxation

D) FR – Financial Reporting

E) AA – Audit & Assurance

F) FM – Financial Management

The strategic professional
The strategic Professional exam prepare student for future leadership positions. It will develop their strategic vision using a unique blend of technical, ethical and professional skills. Students can specialise in area that best suit your career ambitions. They must complete both Essential exam and choose two of the options.

  • Students are required to complete Ethics and Professional Skill module which develops in them a complete range of skills that is required by remployers.

To become an ACCA affiliate, you have to pass exams in 13 ACCA papers across 3 levels, complete an ethics module online, and gain 3 years of relevant work experience to get Practice Certificate. (before, during, or after participation the ACCA Course).

The ACCA Exam Pattern and Structure.

  • ACCA has four exam cycles which fall in the months of March, June, September,
    and December.
  • You can choose how you study, how often you sit for your exams. You can even
    appear for one paper at a time every 3 months.
  • Maximum limit: You can appear for a maximum of 4 papers in 1 attempt.
  • Maximum exams which he can write in one calendar year are 8.
  • A full-time student who wants to complete all ACCA exam papers starting from F1, technically, can complete in only 1.5 years with a maximum of 8 papers per year (Total 13 papers). On average it would take 2.5 to 3 years.
EXAM DETAILS
ACCA Exam Pattern
F1, F2, F3 AND F4: 100% MCQs — (2×50 questions)
F5 to F9:
60% MCQs- Which is spread across two sections.
Section A : 2× 15 questions
Section B : 3 Scenario based questions each worth 15 marks. Each scenario has 5 MCQs under it.
40% Long answer type questions: A scenario will be given and based on that 3 to 4 questions will be asked.
P1 to P6: 100% scenario based questions.
Section A : A case worth 50 marks will be given and 4 to 5 questions will be asked on it. Includes 4 to 6 professional marks as well.
Section B: 3 cases worth 25 marks each will be given. 2 out of the 3 must be attempted.

ACCA is having four exam sessions per year. Students can sit a maximum of four exams at each exam session, and a maximum of eight distinct papers each calendar year. You could therefore complete all of the exams in 2 years.
You are required to submit copies of the following:
  • Official educational documents e.g. completion certificates and transcripts detailing the modules studied
  • Proof of identity (copy of birth certificate / passport / National ID Card or driving licence)
  • Passport-style photograph
