CPA Qualification SystemSummary of Program
- Canadian Students – Required to take Technical Modules and Capstone 1 and 2 and the CFE
- Capstone 1 – Involves working with a group on a large business case
- Capstone 2 – Practice old CFE cases
- Indian CAs – Go directly to the CFE (without doing any Modules including Capstone 1 and 2)
- The 2020 CFEs will be May 27 – 29 and Sept. 9 – 11
- Similar expected dates in 2021
Content Description :
- On registering, students will be provided with technical binders for all technical subjects.
- Course access will include video recorded lectures and practice cases
- Practice cases and exams will be conducted by PASS. Students need to write the case answers in basic software such as Word or Excel and send them for evaluation and marking
- Course will mainly include a combination of
Live online lectures (or their recordings), Recorded video lectures explaining the technical contents and also on how to write answers to case study based questions and practice cases (evaluated and marked by professionals)
How Will Students be Prepared for Day 1 of the CFE?
CFE day 1 is an alternative to Capstone 1
- apstone 1 module focuses on a big case which students work on as a group; the case used in the module is relevant for writing Day 1 of the CFE
- As Indian CPAs are not taking this module, Orbit/PASS will provided a summary of the Capstone 1 case with key information you will need for Day 1 of the CFE
- Session also provided on how to approach Day 1 of the CFE
- Students will also write 2 practice Day 1 cases

Start Anytime Indian students can begin anytime, but starting earlier is always advantageous
